The location is decent, I'll admit, but being next to the kitchen is a complete disaster. I mean, whose idea was it to shove me next to constant noise? Plus, the shared bathroom situation is absurd. After all that inconvenience, an upgrade would have been nice, but apparently they don't cater to special guests, just regulars. I just couldn't recommend this place.

The double room was big size and airy, with central heating and an iron. We got a bath too. The hotel was near to Esposende Guesthouse as well as the beach, sports club, grocery store, restaurants, thanks to its particularly good and perfect location.

The shared kitchen and lounge were great for
Preparing our own meals, which saved us some money. The location was ideal for walking the Camino, and Ana's hospitality. Just a minor point, the hot water could be inconsistent at times, but overall, a good experience.

Where it excels and where it fails
The amazing view from the balcony overlooking the river made our evenings lovely as we enjoyed cheese and wine while witnessing beautiful sunsets.
The surrounding nightlife was occasionally noisy, which interrupted our much-needed rest after long days.

Great location near the Camino de Santiago with vibrant local life outside. The balcony over the river provided fine sunset views, perfect for enjoying cheese and wine in the evening. Ana welcomed us warmly and made check-in smooth. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, great to prepare our own meals, which saved money. Beds in the Double Room with River View felt firm and inviting. It was a relief after walking all day in the heat. The noise from the alley leading to a nearby Italian restaurant disrupted our sleep at times. The shared spaces could get a bit noisy with other travelers. It was a charming stay with a friendly atmosphere.
